Perfect weather added to the delight of the afternoon. Mist rising over the Salton Sea, breezes in th canyons, a magnificient sunset. Going off road and feeling the bumps was worth it since we got into the canyons and could walk into the crevices. So much better than what Hollywood depicts. Isabel provided interesting geological and historical information, answered a multitue of questions and stopped for many picture taking opportunties.

We went on a very informative tour with Isabella and saw the beautiful colours of the mountains and the fault lines and were able to bring our small dog Timmy with us! Isabella was so knowledgable about the area and a terrific guide!

Ron our guide was knowledgeable in the geology, physics and history of the area and specifically the San Andreas fault. We were by ourselves so the discussions, questions and answers were directed specifically at us. Ron and myself, being two old farts, discussed life in general as well. Besides the fault line I liked the trip through Mecca and the dates! I have made it a goal to return and do his bicycle tour once he gets his knee replacement!!
