Need to get some steps in to complete your daily go? I suggest you take the ghost tour. I was skeptical and to tell the truth I still am, but along the tour you get to see some photos taken by others on previous tours and there is something to see. I would love to have heard more history but there is enough to get you through. If you don't want to walk, there is a bus tour but it costs more and takes you to a cemetery. I almost took that tour, but after 4 hours of driving I wanted to walk. The staff is friendly and my tour guide, Jennifer was entertaining. The tour is worth the price. Enjoy.. Believe or don't believe, the choice is yours, but take the tour

My husband and I did the walking tour only one night last week with David. He was fantastic, knew his history of San Antonio, very charismatic and earns bonus points for chatting about my hometown with me (Madison, Ohio)! We had a small group, which really enhanced our experience. David made an effort to get to know each of us and tailor the information he shared accordingly. At each stop we made, he showed great and applicable photos, told us the detailed history and then outlined spooky stories and tidbits from each place. Our tour lasted a little longer than 90 minutes, the walk was super easy and leisurely and we so enjoyed it! What a bargain for such a jam-packed experience! Thank you David! :)

They didn't have just family. My wife and I took her daughter to San Antonio for her 1st visit there. We did the bus tour this time and it was fun and informative. It had some of the same places as the walking tour my wife and I took 3 years ago including The Menger Hotel and the former jail, now a holiday Inn Express. They cut a few too but add several new places such as a newly built hospital where bodies are even now being found and a walk through City Cemetery #1 at night. It was amazing. We all meet at the Sister Grimm shop. They had some cool things. T-shirts, pillows, coffee mugs, stickers, coloring books, etc. Our guide was awesome. He knew a ton and had even visited several other cities haunted tours. As a bonus the couple staying in the very haunted Kings suite at The Menger walked past us while we were there and offered to let us in the room! A rare treat. Even the guide was shocked! It was very cool of them. I highly suggest you take at least one of the tours, both if you can. They offer different stories and looks at the city. But I know the bus fills up fast so book in advance! Great stuff.
