Although the harbor is beautiful, there are just a couple things that rubbed me the wrong way.
The details say to park at the USS Midway Museum Ace parking lot, but that parking lot is currently being demolished. So we were worried about where to park. Fortunately, there is plenty of paid parking along the Embarcadero along the water.
They had a wide variety of food and drinks, but the bartender was only there for a few minutes. So many guests were waiting for her, or had to go back in the middle of the tour.
The tour guide is incredibly knowledgeable, but his voice gives off a real āBueller? Bueller?ā vibe.
The staff is a bit firm when it comes to certain things. My wife and I tried to take. Picture in the dock and they were a bit too firm in telling us that we āhad to keep the dock moving.ā
We were finishing our drinks on the way off the boat. They were again very firm that we couldnāt take them with us (which we knew and was why we were finishing them), but didnāt have a trash can to throw it away in.
All-in-all, it was a pretty inexpensive tour, with beautiful views of the marinas and naval ships, but donāt expect to be blown away by the service and staff.
