San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter Historic True Crime Tour

Overview
Join Murder n’ Mayhem for a Historical True Crime Tour of the Gaslamp Quarter in downtown San Diego. You will walk through several eras in time as you explore interesting stories of true crime. You will also learn the darker history of the Gaslamp Quarter, the area formerly known as the Stingaree.

You will visit a historic hotel where a ghost is said to STILL haunt his room. Then you will travel in time to the roaring 1920’s. Next you will move forward a little over 10 years to become familiar with the 3rd victim of a San Diego Serial Killer. And last, we will share the most horrific crime to take place in downtown San Diego.

* Please note due to the graphic nature of the murder cases we advise extreme caution for children under 13. This tour includes discussion of assault, rape and murder, along with gruesome details that some may find offensive.

The history and true crime look into the Gaslamp district was very interesting. Tour guide did a great job including late guests, but not holding up the tour. Tour guide also did a great job maneuvering around the loud aspects of the crowds that flooded the streets during Comic-Con.

My husband and I have done so many ghost tours around San Diego but Marlene really made this stand out for us. Her storytelling was really immersive and a few times she’d pause to let us guess the ending which was a really fun dramatic effect. Parking was super easy just one block away from the meeting spot. Wear comfortable shoes too! The tour route is flat and easily walkable. Marlene really made our trip special, she even asked our sensitivity levels with her tour content, you can tell she really cares about what she does. I also recommend asking to take her tour!!!

The Tour was not to our expectation. The tour guise was a very old lady named Lailaa in her eighties. The tour was not at all exciting. The tour guide did not make the tour exciting as she was very very old by age. We found the tour boring. we regretted that we booked this tour with Viator spending so much money. We are regular clients of Viator.com Wew demend and request for a FULL REFUND of this tour. [email protected]
