Another Side Of San Diego Tours
After taking a seat in the comfortable sightseeing van, your tour will depart for a fun and exciting experience. Your professional guide will escort you throughout some of the most renowned parts of San Diego. San Diego is sometimes described as "All that California is" - family friendly wholesomeness, exciting nightlife, gorgeous natural beauty and stunningly crafted architecture too. These attributes combine to create a 'feel' and an atmosphere that defy easy description, but make themselves intrinsically known to visitors. This 3-hour tour will show you why this spectacular city beckons Californians and travelers from far abroad alike to sink their toes into sand and their souls into the fabric of this vibrant place. Throughout this tour you'll get to stop and see lots of beautiful areas throughout the city. A few key spots include Coronado, The Hotel Del Coronado, El Prado, the historic Gaslamp Quarter, Embarcadero, and the incredible Balboa Park.
2
Coronado Bridge
Built in 1969, the Coronado Bridge spans more than 11,000 feet and rises 200ft at maximum clearance. At it's base on the San Diego side sits the Chicano Park, and the bridge is easily visible from both the coast and the air. It's now as synonumous with San Diego as the Golden Gate bridge is with San Francisco.
3
Embarcadero
The Embarcadero lays along the eastern side of San Diego Bay, Embarcadero meaning "landing place". The Embarcadero is home to the USS Midway museum, Seaport Village, many popular modern restaurants, and the famous Unconditional Surrender 'victory kiss' statue.
4
Gaslamp Quarter
The Gaslamp Quarter, known as the Historic Heart of San Diego, is a 16 block downtown neighborhood full of nightlife and world-renowned restaurants. Full of Victorian architecture and small museums, as well as Horton Plaza Park and Petco Park, it's a must-see.
5
Balboa Park
Balboa Park is a 1,200 acre park full of museums, the beautiful Spanish Art Village, restaurants and the world-famous San Diego Zoo. It was placed in reserve in 1835 and remains one of Americas oldest public parks, right in the heart of downtown San Diego.
6
El Prado
The El Prado in Balboa Park is a historic district and part of the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. The complex contains the Cabrillo Bridge, the Museum of Man, Alcazar Garden, the Japanese Friendship Garden, the San Diego Museum of Art and much more.

Our tour was AMAZING!! Judy was an incredible guide, as we had read online, with so much information about San Diego, she is an asset to your business! Your team went out of their way to accommodate our group and make this tour so enjoyable. We can't thank you enough for making this the best part of our trip to San Diego! We will be in touch on our next trip out and schedule a different trip with you then!!

This was the highlight of our long weekend in San Diego. It was our first time riding Segways, but Kara was an excellent teacher (Kara cares!) and had us all zipping around comfortably in no time. The mandatory intro video was informative but hilarious, and it was perfect to have about half an hour to practice before hitting the city streets and sidewalks. Adam was a fun, engaging tour guide, and we felt extra safe with him leading and Kara bringing up the rear. Our only regret was not booking a longer tour. We love hiking, biking, kayaking, and walking - but we all loved this so much more for getting to know a city. I've been riding bikes forever, but when I see pedestrians or obstacles near my path, I get nervous for fear of running into them. I've actually crashed into cars and gates. But on a Segway, I had total confidence and everyone escaped unscathed. I was even able to navigate safely through a crowd of dogs at a crosswalk. If you're nervous about riding a Segway, just know that anyone can ride one if I can.

My tour of San Diego was wonderful. It was the perfect way to learn about San Diego and itā€™s history in a few hours. Judy, my guide, was well versed in all things San Diego past and present, and tailored the tour to my requests. Judy was enthusiastic and fun to be with. I especially loved seeing and hearing about Coronado with the Hotel Del Coronado, magnificent homes and gorgeous view back over the city, and Balboa Park, amongst other sites. This is a tour that would work for one or several people and be time well spent.
