We learned a lot about places to visit in San Diego. We we fortunate to arrive at Balboa Park when the weekly pipe organ concert was taking place. What a unexpected treat!

Drove from Laguna Beach just to have a day in San Diego and chose the Hop on Trolley as the best way to get a days overview of the city. We weren’t disappointed Captain Bob kept us informed and entertained throughout the 2 hr trip round. It was well worth the 70 mile journey and we will return to the UK feeling we know much more about San Diego. If you only have a day this is certainly one not to miss. Thank you Captain Bob.

Had one the worse experiences with the Hop-on Hop-off trolley in San Diego. The trolley stays on the same path the entire time, every location it goes to in on the same loop, so if you are getting on at the bayfront Hilton location, it will take you straight to Coronado, and then loop all the way back around to the first stop. Also by the time the trolley got to me, it was beyond full, waited for 5 trolleys before I said screw it and just started walking, took me an hour and a half to get my money back, and even then they didn't want to refund, terrible experience.
