This is the best way to see the entire city of San Diego. They travel through all the main areas explaining the history and available sights. The drivers are very nice and very informative. WE learned a lot and had a very enjoyable time.

I recently arranged the trolley ride for "out of town" guest, mainly because 2 of our 4 guests have difficulty walking very far. We enjoyed the tour very much, and our driver/guide was excellent and was very knowledgeable about the city. I felt the highlight of the tour would be Balboa Park, so I reserved lunch at The Prado. Was I surprised when our driver told us that the closest he could get us to the actual park and the restaurant was 2 very long uphill blocks away! We did find a small trolley for the park some distance from our stop, but it was very full every time it came by. My advice is to not plan on lunch when you take the trolley.

This is a great way to see and learn about the city of San Diego. Highly recommend these trolley tours. This was my first trip to San Diego and chose the hop on hop off. It's great to be able to get off at Coronado and go to the shops and beach then get back on and see balboa park, gas lamp district and Old Town, which was really neat! The drivers are very nice, funny and can tell you everything you need to know about the city. I'm gonna give a shout out to Jeff and Randy. These guys make the trip fun and you walk away a fountain of San Diego knowledge.
