Highly recommend for early on in your trip to SD to see the city. Every person we talked to that worked for the trolley company provided amazing customer service - very friendly and outgoing. They exceeded my expectations, which were already high from these reviews, and made our experience a memorable one! Shout out to Jack, Deb, and Liz!

Our experience was poor. It wasn't the company's fault, but they were kind enough to refund our money. We picked a busy Saturday. There was a parade so 2 stops along the water were not in service until after 1pm. We started at Balboa park. We waited about 20-30 minutes for our first bus. Took that bus to Little Italy. It was crazy busy there. We found a place to have lunch then walked to stop B because we wanted to end in Old town. It was after 1pm so stop B should have been back in service but it wasn't. We saw the bus skip our stop and proceed to stop C. So we walked to stop C. A bus came right away but it was full. The driver said another one would be coming in 5 min. I think we waited 45 min for the next bus. We got on and took it to Coronado Island. Well there was an accident on the bridge. Traffic moved very slow but we made it over the bridge and got off at the hotel Del. We were told to go have a drink at the hotel, but it was $12 American for a small can of beer. Plus it was over crowed with people. We decided to get back on the bus and carry on with the tour. Our driver told us we were taking a different way back because of the accident on the bridge. We spent over an hour stuck in traffic to take the long way back and had to take the highway. It was very windy. When we finally made it to Old Town the ticket booth was closed. No one ever scanned our ticket.
