We'll start outside St. Mary's Church and talk for a few minutes before heading into the heart of Chinatown.

Tin How Temple

Portsmouth Square

Portsmouth Square is Chinatown's only back yard where residents of the community meet from early morning to late night playing chess and dancing to modern music till it is time to go home.

We had an amazing tour with Marc. His knowledge of San Francisco, Chinatown and all of it's dark history was extensive. He was able to read his group and tailor the tone of his tour just for us. We had so much fun and lots of laughs along the way. We were able to see many areas of Chinatown that you wouldn't venture into as a tourist on your own. We came away feeling like we knew the city so much better even though we have all been there countless times. The booking process and instructions for meeting are very easy. I highly recommend Marc and Cynthia and their tours.
