What To Expect

San Francisco Bay

The magic begins the moment you step aboard. The evening starts with cocktails on deck (additional charge) and continues in style with your sit-down dinner consisting of delicious appetizer, salad, choice of main course and dessert. After dinner, the live band will strike up and play a wide variety of music, including top 40 and classic hits to tempt you onto the dance floor. While dining and dancing you'll cruise in style past San Francisco's famous sights, including Alcatraz, Angel Island, Tiburon and Sausalito.

The highlight of the evening comes as you cruise under the magnificent Golden Gate Bridge, before the cruise circles back towards the Bay Bridge to reach San Francisco's picturesque piers and city skyline. I booked this cruz. The flyers and website all show the older mor romantic boat in the second picture. Instead we are put on a boat that looks like the blue and gold fleet that runs you back and forth to Alcatraz. Hornblower is mor expensive then the blue and gold and if i knew what we were getting i would of just booked with them. I just thought it would be more romantic. One note the couple next to us asked if this is what we paid for, when i told them not in a long run they agreed and let the boat before it even left. Beware you most likely are not getting what is in the pictures. I’ll never trust them again!!!!!

I took my wife on the Friday night dinner cruise of San Francisco Bay. We were each greeted with a glass of champagne and graciously escorted to our table where a bottle of champagne awited us. We dined on food that was decent but not great as we looked out the glass surround windows and sailed under the Golden Gate Bridge , past Alcatraz, the Bay Bridge and the port of Oakland accompanied by a pianist playing romantic tunes. After dinner there was dancing to romantic music and a few rock songs blended in. My wife really loved the evening. I recommend it to anyone looking for a romantic, something different eveing in San Francisco.

We went on their dinner dance bay cruise with a group. Overall the experience was pleasant with a beautiful view of the bay. We went under the Golden Gate Bridge and Bay Bridge at night so the lights were really nice to see. Plus seeing the city at night is really spectacular. The food was decent but not necessarily worth what we paid. But you have to consider that the bay cruise is what we are really paying for and the food is just an add-on. Drinks were a little on the pricey side and service was pleasant. After dinner there was some dancing with a DJ providing music. But it was more spectacular to just go outside and take in the views.
