For hotel pickups, if your hotel is not listed, please select the Hilton Union Square at 333 O'Farrell Street (the meeting point is outside the Mason Street entrance).
Any guest that does not provide their child's safety seat at the time of the tour and does not inform the tour operator in advance may not be allowed to board the tour and will not be subject to refund.
Meals are not included (except lunch if option is added at checkout).
Audio guides are available in Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, French, German, Korean, Mandarin and Japanese. Specify language at time of booking under special requirements.
For international guests, please be aware the legal drinking age in the United States is 21 years of age.
For the rare event that commercial parking is not available at Muir Woods, we reserve the right to arrange an alternative destination for experiencing Giant Coastal Redwoods during your Muir Woods and Wine Country Tour.

If lunch upgrade is selected, your group will sit together for a table-side presentation of local wines paired with each expertly prepared course of California cuisine.
For Private Tour option, size of vehicle will be dependent on the size of your party
NOTE: Tastings are usually held at Kieu Hoang Winery, Muscardini Cellars and Mayo Family Winery, but locations are subject to change, depending on availability.
Lunch option upgrade: after being greeted with Sonoma Valley cheeses and sparkling wine, guests may select a course such as minestrone soup with navy beans and vegetables, pasta with either a beef and pork sauce or arugula-almond pesto sauce or grilled salmon with seasonal vegetables and balsamic reduction.

Nice tour but the second winery we visited was horrible! The wine not only tasted terrible, it had no scenery. We just sat at picnic tables on grass. The people we ran it didn’t speak to the group and paid not attention to us. Viator should not include that winery on the tour. Also the tour guide talked too much about things not related to the tour. Overall we enjoyed the other two tastings at the first and last winery and walk in Muir Woods. Please note though these aren’t the giant redwoods.

Thanks for your feedback. We have spoken with the winery about your experience and they have apologized for being short staffed on the day of your tour. Please call our Guest Services office at 415 357 0700 so we can make things right. You are correct, the trees in Muir Woods are Coastal Redwoods. The Giant Redwoods are to the east in the Sierra Nevada mountains. Sorry if we got it wrong on the tour. Travel safely home.

This is a worthy experience. Very well organised, it keeps its promises. The Muir is wonderful, nature pure, makes you feel your responsibility to respect and protect Nature (more)… The wine visit of Napa and Sanoma is providing a wine tasting part and beautiful views of the wine fields and the towns (Sanoma). The day was coupled by a nice sunset at the Golden Bridge.. a great driver’s initiative. Roman, the driver and guide of the event, was very knowledgeable, culturally educated with a good sense of humour. He gave us many information about SF and the whole area, the history of the region as well as the wine making and tasting. Overall very much appreciated and highly recommended.
