For hotel pickups, if your hotel is not listed, please select the Hilton Union Square at 333 O'Farrell Street (the meeting point is outside the Mason Street entrance).
Any guest that does not provide their child's safety seat at the time of the tour and does not inform the tour operator in advance may not be allowed to board the tour and will not be subject to refund.
Meals are not included (except lunch if option is added at checkout).
Audio guides are available in Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, French, German, Korean, Mandarin and Japanese. Specify language at time of booking under special requirements.
For international guests, please be aware the legal drinking age in the United States is 21 years of age.
For the rare event that commercial parking is not available at Muir Woods, we reserve the right to arrange an alternative destination for experiencing Giant Coastal Redwoods during your Muir Woods and Wine Country Tour.

If lunch upgrade is selected, your group will sit together for a table-side presentation of local wines paired with each expertly prepared course of California cuisine.
For Private Tour option, size of vehicle will be dependent on the size of your party
NOTE: Tastings are usually held at Kieu Hoang Winery, Muscardini Cellars and Mayo Family Winery, but locations are subject to change, depending on availability.
Lunch option upgrade: after being greeted with Sonoma Valley cheeses and sparkling wine, guests may select a course such as minestrone soup with navy beans and vegetables, pasta with either a beef and pork sauce or arugula-almond pesto sauce or grilled salmon with seasonal vegetables and balsamic reduction.

I appreciated that the owner of Extranomical Tours, Gary Alan, reached out to discuss our ride. He stated that as a precaution, he had the vehicle checked out by a mechanic and all was fine. In addition, he listened to my experiences along the country roads and highways. An adjustment was made and I am feeling better about our experience. Everything was great except the comfort of the ride. Moving forward, we will take a luxury coach as we have previously done for our wine trips.

We totally enjoyed our tour to Muir Woods and wineries with Kimberly! She was an awesome guide throughout the whole trip, providing information and offering to take pictures. She was very considerate of people’s comfort as she expertly handled the tour bus through the winding (seriously winding!) roads to Muir Woods. As far as wineries, they were all different and most would find them enjoyable. It was a great time and I’d strongly encourage anyone visiting San Francisco to do this tour!

Wineries were good but Muir Woods was the highlight. The first winery (KH) was just ok - mostly a chance to buy the wine and sit on the porch. The second (Mayo) and third wineries were friendlier and surprisingly good. All are boutique wineries you probably have never heard of. Our guide - Jacob - was great. Super friendly. We ordered the VIP lunch option which was a good option - but there are PLENTY of other good options in the square that you can choose from for lunch. All in all a nice way to spend the day and not have to worry about who will be the designated driver.
