For hotel pickups, if your hotel is not listed, please select the Hilton Union Square at 333 O'Farrell Street (the meeting point is outside the Mason Street entrance).
Any guest that does not provide their child's safety seat at the time of the tour and does not inform the tour operator in advance may not be allowed to board the tour and will not be subject to refund.

If lunch upgrade is selected, your group will sit together for a table-side presentation of local wines paired with each expertly prepared course of California cuisine.
For Private Tour option, size of vehicle will be dependent on the size of your party
NOTE: Tastings are usually held at Kieu Hoang Winery, Muscardini Cellars and Mayo Family Winery, but locations are subject to change, depending on availability.
Lunch option upgrade: after being greeted with Sonoma Valley cheeses and sparkling wine, guests may select a course such as minestrone soup with navy beans and vegetables, pasta with either a beef and pork sauce or arugula-almond pesto sauce or grilled salmon with seasonal vegetables and balsamic reduction.

This was a nice tour, but was nothing special. The company was slightly disorganized and contacted us several times with different pick up locations, the last one 1.5 miles from our hotel. When we called to confirm and told them how far it was, they said that they go right by the hotel we are staying at and will pick us up in front of our hotel.....good thing we called. Nice drive up to Muir woods with some occasional narration. Muir woods was very nice, but not the huge Red Woods you are dreaming about. There are some that are large and tall, but nothing like the ones that cars could drive through. We then ended up at 3 different wineries. 2 of the 3 had friendly staff and gave education to go along with the tastings. The 3rd poured only 2 wines, gave no education, and was a large disappointment. I guess we may have been expecting more as we visited a couple of vineyards when in Italy. That was a much better experience, as you sit at a table, they bring wines to you 1 at a time, pair meats and cheeses with them, and give you time to truly enjoy and experience the wine.

I am so glad I booked this tour. I flew in to the city for one day and wanted to do as much possible so I decided to book this tour. The bus picks you up early around 7:30am and heads off to the first destination to Muir Woods. Our bus driver, Roman, was very knowledgeable and so funny. He gave us a tour of the city on our way there and even stopped at golden gate bridge for us to take pictures. When you get to Muir Woods, you pay the entrance fee and have about an hour to explore. There is a cafe available to purchase snacks. I would recommend to wear comfortable shoes since you do go on a walking trail. After, you start heading to the wineries. All 3 wineries were fantastic, with plenty of wine tasting at no additional charge. We stopped for lunch after the first winery. Lunch was about an hour and a half at Sonoma Plaza. There are lots of restaurants to choose from. We ate at Casa Blanca, a Mexican restaurant where the food was delicious. Then we stopped for ice cream at a nearby shop. We got to walk through the plaza an explore for a few minutes before heading back. After the two wineries, Roman stopped at the golden gate bridge again for us to take pictures. Everything was amazing!
