We were lucky enough to pick a day when no one else booked the group tour, so it ended up being private, and Mark was an awesome guide. He is a natural with people, and made an already interesting area even more interesting. The food stops were perfect in terms of serving style and variety. Thanks Mark!

Couldn't ask for a better guide. Mark, a local and experienced in the food business, provided Mission District history and a good sampling of food. Also able to provide good referrals for Bay Area restaurants.

The group tours were sold out while we were in town, but we were lucky enough to be able to book a private tour with Mark. We were glad we did! Despite it being the day after Christmas with a number of restaurants closed, Mark knows the Mission well enough to come equipped with great backups. The stops are well thought, with a good mix of dishes and experiences, and Mark does a great job of talking about the changes and fixtures of the Mission neighborhood.
