Sand Hollow State Park

Red sandstone park offers boating in a reservoir & off-highway vehicle riding on Sand Mountain. Come see the red rock, sand dunes, red dirt trails, dinosaur tracks, and Indian petroglyphs!

Mad Moose Rentals is the best. We came here after golfing 18 holes at Sand Hollow with 4 dads and 4 - 13 year old boys. We had an absolute blast. The service at Mad Moose was top notch. This was mainly because we had an awesome guide HOPE!!! I highly recommend that you ask for her, she made our experience great. She tailored the experience to our needs and we got the maximum out of our adventure. HOPE was also very kind and fun with our boys, all our kids just loved the time we had driving the dunes and going around the area. Thanks again Mad Moose, and thanks again HOPE for such a great adventure. We definitely will be back and we will be requesting HOPE as a guide.

My wife and I took the 2 hour sand dune tour with my son and grandson. None of us had driven a UTV before, but felt comfortable pretty quickly with the instructions from Tyson, our tour guide. He made it incredibly fun and we rode over boulders and sand dunes and saw amazing scenery, that we never thought would be possible. It felt like a once in a lifetime experience, but we enjoyed it so much that we came back the next week with our daughter and booked a Sunset tour. We had a blast.
