Sand Hollow State Park

Red sandstone park offers boating in a reservoir & off-highway vehicle riding on Sand Mountain. Come see the red rock, sand dunes, red dirt trails, dinosaur tracks, and Indian petroglyphs!

While on vacation, we did the 2 hour guided tour and rented jet skis the following day. The guided tour was amazing. Adam was very kind and patient with our group as some were feeling sick and nervous. He took us on stops for great picture opportunities and was very informative. Same situation with the jet ski rental the next day. The customer service Adam, Spencer, and the girl in the office was outstanding. I’m definitely contemplating coming back with my children. Thank you for the memories!

My friends and I visited Mad Moose Rentals on our trip to Hurricane and did the 2 hr Sand Dune Tour. Our tour guide was Adam and he was amazing. I was scared out of my mind at the beginning, never having done anything like this before, and he was so cool and patient with all of us. He was the best DJ and we jammed out to some great tunes during the ride. He stopped to take pictures of us in certain spots during the trip and allowed us our time to photograph the scenery. The entire ride had amazing views and we were so happy we did it! Totally worth it!

We did a 2 hour tour with our family of five on Thursday and it was one of the highlights of our Spring Break trip though the beautiful southwest. I drove my 3 kids (17,15,11) in a 4 person Rzr and my wife rode with our guide Adam, who was excellent. He gave great instruction at all new terrain types and stopped for fun photos along the way. The terrain is pretty incredible, challenging, and varied and the views are awesome. The Rzr is an amazing machine and Mad Moose keeps them clean and running smooth and fast. This big ride sucked up huge hits, turns and dunes with speed, agility, and smoothness. 2 hours is enough and it’s definitely worth the price. Do it!
