Sandboarding & Slot Canyon UTV Adventure

Overview

This is a private tour to a public destination. By private, we mean that we don't usually combine groups unless it is only 1-4 people.

Get ready for a fun ride to Peekaboo Slot Canyon! The best way to get to the canyon is with an off-road machine. Our UTV's are tons of fun for the sandy, bumpy trails.

Sandboarding is an included optional activity for children, teens, and adults who want to give it a try. You can slide standing up or sitting down according to your skill and comfort levels. There are sand dunes and beautiful scenery along the way, with occasional small wildlife that may make an appearance. This dry slot canyon is away from the crowds and is a great alternative to some of the busier areas at the national parks.

The hike through the slot canyon is not difficult. It does include a small ladder near the beginning of the hike. Enjoy the narrow sections with the occasional beam of light. It is a great opportunity for kids and families to relax and go at their own pace.

We tried out sandboarding for the first time, got some great tips and had so much fun! Slot canyon was beautiful too, our guide had an impressive knowledge of local geography and showed us the best spots for photos!

This was such a fun experience! We went with our 9 and 12 year old boys and we all loved it! Sandboarding was hard (as expected), but such a unique new experience. The slot canyons were incredible. So beautiful! The UTV ride was so fun! Brent and as a great guide!
