Ready for a touch of luxury? Have a relaxing day in beautiful Santa Barbara! This trip starts off with a spectacular drive up the coast before arriving downtown. Marvel at the Spanish-inspired historic buildings and take in a panoramic view from the iconic Santa Barbara Courthouse before exploring the historic Old Mission. Have lunch and soak in the Old West Ambiance at the Cold Spring Tavern. Take a beautiful drive up to charming Los Olivos and try out some of the local wines such as Pinot Noir, Syrah, and Sauvignon Blanc. This tour lasts 9-10 hours and includes one free wine tasting experience (or olive oil tasting for under 21s).

What To Expect

El Presidio de Santa Barbara State Historic Park

Take a look at a reconstruction of what was the original El Presidio Spanish colony military settlement.

Santa Barbara County Courthouse

This working courthouse in Spanish Moorish architectural style is surrounded by landscaped gardens and lawns. Check out the Spanish and Tunisian tilework, the historical mural room and the clock tower offering a 360-degree view of Santa Barbara. Note: The courthouse is closed on Saturdays which will only allow for viewing of the exterior. Your tour may take you to an alternative landmark.

The Historic La Arcada Courtyard

Walk through the lovely historic courtyard with the option for some shopping. La Arcada Plaza boasts some of Santa Barbara's top restaurants and art galleries as well as hosting a number of retail boutiques and services. Tile-lined walkways, fountains, sidewalk cafes and beautiful sculptures decorate the lush landscapes.

Old Mission Santa Barbara

Visit the "Queen of the Missions", a historic Franciscan mission that features twin bell towers and lovely gardens, like the sunken garden and the rose garden. Self-guided tour admission price included with tour.

Cold Spring Tavern

Enjoy traditional American-style food for lunch at this famous stagecoach stop on the San Marcos Pass near Santa Barbara. Here you can appreciate the true ambiance of the Old West because, as if by magic, time stands still. Meal price is not included in tour. Other meal options are available by request. Cold Spring Tavern is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays; an alternative destination wil be arranged.

Los Olivos

Enjoy the scenic country views and enjoy wine tastings at charming Los Olivos. One free wine tasting included with the tour price; additional wine tastings not included in the tour price.

This was a very nice way to see outside of LA. Cold creek Tavern and Sunstone winery were very nice. Also a lot of historical information about Santa Barbara.

The choices for lunch and wine tasting were exceptional. We couldn’t have found either places without our guide. Would highly recommend to our friends!

I don't drink so the guide was flexible enough to find an olive oil tasting which was delicious! The food at the tavern was amazing, and a nice cool spot to rest. My favorite part was seeing the courthouse because I'm really into ceramic tile. Overall the experience was one of the most relaxing and memorable tours I've been on, well worth it.
