Overview

With 30 years of teaching experience, a NM Level 2 Art Teaching license, 10 years of experience as the founder and executive director of the Tarnoff Art Center(a 501c3) based here in the Santa fe area, and the current co-owner of Artful Soul Creative Experiences in Downtown Santa Fe, Laura brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to her classes. As she is dedicated to guiding students on their artistic journey . Laura graduated from the American Academy of Art in Chicago, where she underwent a rigorous academic art education. Her disciplined training included studying the human figure and mastering various traditional art mediums such as pastels, oil painting, watercolors, pen and ink, and much more. Laura's own artwork is a testament to her vibrant and painterly style, ranging from tight realism to wild non-objective abstractions. Known for her "Figurative Abstractions," Laura infuses her work with emotionally charged colors, figurative distortions, and expressive brushstrokes.

What a cool way to experience Santa Fe, making art near the historic plaza, surround by magical creative vibes! Playing with paint stirs the spirit, regardless of whether or not you are "an artist!" This is a must for any visitor looking for a memorable experience. We had a fabulous time and definitely plan to go again.

Artful soul is a great little eclectic vibe art studio tan by Mickey and Laura who are fun creative passionate artist ! All my experiences have been great from paint nights to private sessions . They are really both really great at tapping into your creative side . Fun fun !
