Our Wine Country Shuttle service allows you to experience 2-3 wineries at your leisure for the day. At each winery you can opt to purchase a tasting or enjoy wine by the glass or bottle. Food options will be available for purchase either at the wineries or in the quaint town of Los Olivos. If you want to explore the breadth and diversity that the Santa Ynez Valley Wine Country has to offer this is the tour for you! Our incredible guides will offer interpretation & history about the Santa Ynez Valley throughout the day.

Our wine shuttles require a minimum of 4 participants to run. You will be emailed with options if you have less than 4 people in your party.
If you are a single traveler, please free to call our office to confirm availability
Departure and arrival times are flexible, depending on your location & other pick-ups that day, but generally range from 9:45am to 10:45am. Pick-up times will be confirmed via phone or email the day prior. We are usually done by 3 or 4pm, heading back to town and returning by 5pm.
If you do not require hotel pick-up, or are not staying in in Santa Barbara or Santa Ynez, you may meet the shuttle at the Santa Barbara Visitor's Center, 1 Garden Street, Santa Barbara, CA 93101
If meeting at the Visitor's center, the parking lot is immediately behind the Visitor Center building. Parking fees of $9 per day per car may apply.

What To Expect

Meet your guide at your central Santa Barbara hotel and board a comfortable air-conditioned luxury passenger van. Enjoy the views as you leave the city behind and head into the Santa Ynez Valley to explore the vineyard filled countryside. Pick ups are also available from Santa Ynez Valley and Solvang.

Santa Ynez Valley

Explore the stunning vineyards and quaint towns of the Santa Ynez Valley while our guide shares some of the history and wine production secrets of the valley. We will visit three full production wineries and lunch will be enjoyed amidst the vineyards. We spend about an hour at each winery and allow approximately an hour for lunch at one of those stops. We have a few "local favorites" that we may visit on this tour, with great reviews from our clients and guides. We had a WONDERFUL tour with Yohannes!! He was very knowledgeable about all things wine, the region, the grapes, and the history of the area. Our tour included stops at 3 wineries and lunch at the 2nd stop. Beautiful day with our best friends, and the value for the money is incredible.

In 2021 my friend and I took this tour and loved it so we booked another trip and brought along our boyfriends this time. First year we stayed in Santa Barbara and the whole experience was great! Sunny went above and beyond to get us lunch, take a detour to do olive oil tasting, and have some input on wineries visited. 5+ stars! We told our boyfriends we hoped we’d get Sunny again because she was so great. This year we did get Sunny again and it was still good but didn’t compare to the previous trip. If it was our first trip my rating would be 3 stars. I’m giving 4 because of last year. This trip we stayed in Solvang and expected a later pickup which we found out would be at 11:40, but we didn’t get picked up until 12:10. We had no input on wineries and lunch (if you want to try specific places you should request when booking). Disappointing because we wanted to try new places and it was basically a repeat of last year. It was New Years Day so a lot of that was probably holiday related. We also didn’t get the region/winery explanation like last year but we chalked it up to a shorter drive from pickup to first winery. The other couple on the bus decided to not continue the tour and asked to be left at the first winery. Not Sunny’s fault, but was unfortunate because we were picked up late because of that couple. They messed up our timeline then left. The rest of the day felt rushed trying to make up the time. Additionally, stop 2 had a long food/lunch. Luckily our boyfriends didn’t do tastings because they wouldn’t have had time after waiting in line. From pickup to drop off was 5 hours. Since our hotel was in Solvang and no flexibility on wineries or time for regional education, we all agreed we should’ve skipped the trip and drove ourselves. It just wasn’t worth the money this time. A little disappointed but not completely the company or Sunny’s fault. If staying in Santa Barbara this is definitely the way to go for a wine tour, though!

Our group had a great time on this tour of Santa Ynez wine country. The day consisted of two tastings at vineyards with a chance to explore Los Olivos. Our guide Johannes made the experience by being exceptionally knowledgeable about the area and its wine-producing history. He also provided enriching recommendations/informations at each stop and somehow was able to pick us up at our obscurely-located airbnb. Overall a very professional experience compared to a wine tour I had done in the area years before with another agency.
