Sarasota Guided Mangrove Tunnel Kayak Tour

Overview
There is a reason that the Mangrove Tunnels of Lido Key are a must-do experience when visiting the Gulf Coast. We launch from Ted Sperling Nature Park (190 Taft Dr Sarasota FL) which has clean restrooms, a rinsing shower, and shaded picnic tables. Our amazing local guides from Sea Life Kayak Adventures take you on a tour of Little Sarasota Bay, where you may see manatees, dolphins, a variety of birds and sea life...then finish up in the famous mangrove tunnels, a beautiful canopy that meanders thru an island. The tour usually goes around 2 hours, but we aren't on a strict schedule, so please allow for an extra half hour. We are located just minutes from downtown Sarasota, 20 minutes from Siesta Key, and a half hour from Anna Maria Island and Bradenton (add time for traffic during high season. We meet a HALF HOUR before our tours)

Ian was awesome. Very friendly tour guide, knowledgeable, and fun. We had so much fun paddling through the mangroves and the open water. Highly recommend.

Great fun kayaking through the mangroves. Ian was an excellent guide; he had excellent knowledge of the ecology of the area. I would highly recommend this tour if you enjoy kayaking.

OK, I have no idea who hired these guys but wow! I mean it! I had this young man Yurick who led my group and this guy was AWESOME! In one adventure tour through the Mangrove Tunnels I learned more Marine Biology than I did taking the class in high school. Yurick was kind, he was he was fun, and he had such a great sense of humor. His jokes were funny in a lame kind of Dad way but that's OK. My children who have never gone kayaking before absolutely loved the experience, and are now bugging me to take them again. His patients with inexperienced kids like mine, proved that he was not only a gentleman, but a true professional in his craft, and I will highly recommend anyone and everyone I talk to to take a tour with him! 5 STARS!!!!
