Tom was informative, funny and not afraid to tell the truth. We loved him and that tour. If you are having a hard time choosing which tour to book, this one is worth it. No ghost or gore or fake literature. Just the truth of what really happened in Salem 1692. We went by the cemetery as it was a late tour, heā€™ll show you where the old symbolic oak tree is, and speak of some of the cruelty that occurred. Youā€™ll be told about the old historic buildings as well. Tom knows his history, and his pup is adorable too.

Fantastic tour. As other reviews have said, Tom is an amazingly engaging speaker and knows a lot of the contextual history surrounding the witch trials, which he shares abundantly during the tour. You'll hear about the likely locations of key events and his analysis of why it happened. Throw in his sense of humor and the high energy he brings, and this is also one of the most fun tours of Salem. It has more background knowledge than what's given in the Salem Witch Museum.

Tom is a great historian and gave us a real, raw overview of events. We got a good walk in, learned a few things about museums and sites to visit, which was helpful because we hadnā€™t gone into anything before the tour. Tom provided recommendations. Be respectful, listen, ask questions.
