Made and prepaid reservation after recent chat quote and real time website check. Within hours told had not paid correct amount, needed to pay 33% more. When inquired about discrepancy, coldly challenged that āDonāt airline and hotel rates change by the second?ā Does not explain incorrect real time website information. Was about to become a regular user, had already added contact info to phone. Needless to say, immediately requested refund and deleted contact info. Onward.

We are happy to respond to this review. We only wish we could publish the actual online messenger transcript. We received on August 15th, 2022 a reservation request and payment from the prospect. We then sent a response a few minutes after letting the prospect know the amount paid wasn't the correct fare for her area of Hilton Head, as reflected on the website. She indicated to us that the rate she paid was given to her a few days ago and is also listed on our website. Our representative advised the prospect that much like an airline or hotel, rates are subject to change without notice until booked. We did not tell her to go to the website and see that the fare she paid wasn't for her area since we did not wish to escalate the matter. The prospect said we were not a hotel nor an airline in closing so therefore I guess we have no right to change our rates prior to booking. We issued her a refund which we would have done anyway if there were no response to our email to her, and simply wished her well.
