We opted for a night tour of Bonaventure Cemetery with Shannon Scott. It was a cold night, lit by a full, white moon that reflected off the headstones & statues for an amazing effect. Our guide, Shannon Scott was outstanding!! He clearly has a deep seeded love for history & a connection to Savannah that is undeniable. You would think most tour guides would tire of the same tours & questions, but Shannon brought a contagious passion for those interred. Both my husband & I loved this night tour! Would absolutely recommend Shannon Scott & we look forward to our next tour. This wasn't a typical spooky ghost story type tour, this tour was filled with history, romance & yes, some, stories that would give you just the right amount of goosebumps. My husband is not one to repeat tours, but this one will be a staple on our trips to Savannah. I can not imagine anyone being disappointed with this tour. A must do!

Our family group of five enjoyed a beautiful mid-March afternoon at Bonaventure Cemetery with Shannon Scott. We were surprised and delighted with his demeanor, enthusiasm, knowledge and great story-telling abilities. Thanks again, Shannon. Our afternoon with you made Savannah 'come more to life' so to speak.

This is one of the most beautiful cemeteries that I have ever visited. My wife, daughters (ages 9 and 7) and I all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. If you decide to visit I would recommend visiting with a tour guide. The evening Bonaventure Journey with Shannon Scott is amazing.
