Private Savannah Ghost Walks with 'The Founder' is the longest running small group ghost tour in Savannah. It was founded in 1983. The Founder is an intuitive clairvoyant who brings a background in psychic work with a vast knowledge of ghosts and hidden Savannah history to his small group private and public tours. Tour sites are private and begin in mysterious places within the Savannah Historic District -- often in off-the-beaten track places where other large group ghost tours end. Subjects and experiences shared on the 90 minute hour walking tour includes tools and techniques for paranormal enhancement as well as in depth history of reach site to round out the experience.

What To Expect

Savannah Historic District

The haunted Historic District which this small group tour explores is beneath an urban forest of thousands of moss-shrouded oaks, palms and magnolias. It is the one 'flagship site' location throughout the route.

Madison Square

This exclusive small group Savannah Ghost Walk led by The Founder, departs from hauntingly historic Madison Square, site of skirmish areas connected to the second bloodiest battle in the American Revolution.

Green-Meldrim House

Haunted area site stops surrounding Madison Square site stops include the courtyard of the Victorian Gothic Green-Meldrim House where Civil War haunted history and the ghost on the balcony is sometimes seen.

Savannah Historic District

The Eliza Thompson House on haunted Jones street includes the outside of one of the most haunted inns in the Southeast where supernatural experiences from Inn guests are shared including Civil War hauntings

Savannah Historic District

Doctor Courson House: Guests stand directly outside the legendary house of the late Victorian scientist, Doctor Courson who conducted early experiments in radiation from his basement, experiments that haunt the house to this very day.

Savannah Historic District

The Hoodoo Boo Hag block of Jones street features a mysterious, gas-lit courtyard entrance where colleagues of the Founder report strange appearances of shadow hags. Savannah's Gullah-Geechee hoodoo and voodoo traditions and the bones underneath our feet are covered here.

Chase is very knowledgeable! Highly recommend this tour. We were fortunate enough to have him all to ourselves and it made for a very interesting and fun experience....watch out for mosquitos!

I’ve been on many ghost tours in other places. Hands down best one I’ve ever been on. If you want a unique, personalized experience, look no further. Chase gives a small group ghost tour of haunted locations but without all the gimmicks like costumes and props. We saw other more advertised groups out there of 20-30 people. We were a group of 4. We were able to ask questions and he tailored the tour to us. I chose Chase to get someone who was from the area and did his own research over many decades. His dedication to this city is obvious. He told stories based on documented events and knows his history. His love for this city shines through. We had 90 min and walked to many off the beaten path sites. The other tour groups were at the same sites over lapping unlike our tour. He has years of knowledge to offer. I wish we were here longer so we can book again and see more sites. He was engaging and my teenage sons had a blast. Left a great impression on them. So do yourself a favor and book with Chase. Get a genuine tour without all the gimmicks!

We had such a blast exploring and learning about the many hidden secrets in the city. Chase was an awesome tour guide. He was super knowledgeable about the hidden history and the spookiest locations. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a ghost tour.
