Overview

One of Savannah’s most beloved holiday traditions is back and all aglow for the most wonderful time of the year. Now in our 24th year, enjoy the magic of Holiday Lights & Sights in the warm cozy comfort onboard Old Town Trolley for a fully immersive holiday experience. Conductors will entertain with caroling and tales of Savannah’s favorite holiday traditions as they drive through decorated historic homes and squares.

The tour also includes stops at the Isaiah Davenport House, where guests will time-travel back to the 1820’s to see how Savannah’s earliest residents experienced the spirit of the season while enjoying some holiday treats and stop at the new Plant Riverside District, a truly magical winter wonderland, where guests can say hello to St. Nick himself.

This tour was fun and we enjoyed it however, it is not what I thought it would be. I THOUGHT by the name of the tour, that we would be seeing Christmas lights around Savannah. That is NOT what this tour is. It is more about how Christmas was celebrated in Savannah long ago. There were two stops: Isaiah Davidson house and JW Marriott. The Isaiah house was somewhat fun to go in and see however, it wasn't really what I was interested in seeing. I wanted to see Christmas lights! The JW Marriott stop was GREAT! The tour guides were very enthusiastic and took their roles very seriously! They were very peppy and fun. Lots of Christmas carol singing as a group on the trolley as we moved about town. It was fun to see Savannah at night but still would have liked to have seen actual Christmas decor as the name of the tour indicates. I would recommend this tour for fun but also would suggest you change the name of the tour; maybe take the word "lights" out of the title. There were no lights to shown!

Excellent holiday tour. Great fun signing and jingling as you go. I Recommend you go in December when the churches have their lights up.

Singing with Ralphie. Best tour guide ever! Fun and enjoyable overall. Added bonus was the Christmas boat parade on the river. Terrific view from the trolley.
