Overview

One of Savannah’s most beloved holiday traditions is back and all aglow for the most wonderful time of the year. Now in our 24th year, enjoy the magic of Holiday Lights & Sights in the warm cozy comfort onboard Old Town Trolley for a fully immersive holiday experience. Conductors will entertain with caroling and tales of Savannah’s favorite holiday traditions as they drive through decorated historic homes and squares.

The tour also includes stops at the Isaiah Davenport House, where guests will time-travel back to the 1820’s to see how Savannah’s earliest residents experienced the spirit of the season while enjoying some holiday treats and stop at the new Plant Riverside District, a truly magical winter wonderland, where guests can say hello to St. Nick himself.

Went on this Christmas tour tonight with friends. Icy was our tour guide. She made the trip so much fun, and she was driving expertly through some tight situations, calmly and making everything fun. Ask for Icy as your guide.

Our group of 4 friends went to Savannah for a weekend in December to see the Holiday Market in the Plant River District (one of the stops on this tour - be sure to see Santa & the cute holiday market stalls here!) Our driver was named Red and she was dressed up as an elf from head to toe - with pointy ears and everything. She had a bigger than life personality and made sure to hand out jingle bells for the kids and many riders to use along with our chorus books so we could sing along with all the carols. She skillfully drove us all over town, touring the Davenport House and seeing how that family celebrated without many lights or fan fare back in the 1700s. It was a wonderful evening!

Our driver RED was excellent. She was full of energy which was contagious to all. She passed out bells and song books. Everyone seemed to get into the act. Stopping at the Davenport House was a trick. It was very cold that evening the ad warm cider hit the spot. I do wish we could have seen more rooms. I would recommend this highly.
