The first part of the tour on the trolley was quite good and well worth it for the history and overall architecture of Savannah. The second part on the riverboat was a complete letdown as there was really not much to see. Since it’s summer and crazy hot and humid, we spent almost the entire boat trip inside not near a window-we really didn’t miss anything. Skip this-not worth it A note to Kelly tours-we called to get a ride back to our hotel-Homewood Suites-driver said he would get us there as close as possible-it was teeming rain and there was lightning and thunder-he could have easily driven up the hill to let us off in front but claimed he needed to make the turn about 50 yards away-we had to plod through 4” puddles and pounding rain-we were completely soaked-all that was needed was a simple doable detour

We are happy to hear you enjoyed your trolley portion of the tour and apologize that the riverboat was not what you were expecting. Unfortunately the city has very specific regulations and we are not able to unload passengers anywhere other than legal stops. We apologize for any inconvenience. We appreciate your feedback. Thank you for choosing Gray Line.

Good introductory tour, which encompasses the historic district of Savannah and a relaxing riverboat cruise. The narrative on both the trolley and the cruise could be a bit more interesting in terms of the history of Savannah. But overall, a good start to give you an idea what to see next.
