We had the most wonderful tour led by Jakob Alexandre Vicars. It was quite obvious that he has spent immeasurable amounts of time researching Savannahā€™s history. The tour was fun as well as informational. I had actually been on his tour a year ago with friends and enjoyed it so much that I brought my teenage son back knowing heā€™d love this tour. We live in southwest Florida. Iā€™m sure all the guides are great but I felt we were particularly fortunate to have Jakob as our tour guide again.

This was a disappoint tour. The tour guide was forgetful and kept getting things mixed up. It was supposed to be a 90 minute tour but we were back in an hour. Mostly just walking, he told 4 ghost stories then we arrived back. Iā€™d opt for a riding tour next time. We could hear other tour guides who were very engaging. We did learn some things but it was disappointing for the money.

This is my third visit to Savannah and third ghost tour, having accidentally taken the same tour both previous times, I intentionally booked the Dead of Night tour because our kids are now older, despite the recent bad reviews. This was by far, less scary, less interesting and less informative than either of our previous tours. In general just very disappointing. Not recommended.
