Andrew was knowledgeable and entertaining. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and the time flew by. Serious topics mixed with occasional humor kept everyone's attention.

Nick was our guide on the ā€œDead of Nightā€ tour. It was not anything like we were hoping-nothing dark or ominous. We did not get to go to the Wright Square like we were hoping. Instead. We got to Chippewa Square and were told ā€œokay this is where I leave you have a good nightā€ and our entire group was stunned. We spent more time at the basilica being told how beautiful it was inside and to visit if we got a chance than we did at some of the other sites. The only ghost stories we got were a soldier that haunts room 414 at Marshall House hotel and the sound of children at the Hamilton Turner Inn. Highly disappointed in our tour and would recommend someone wanting to do this to have their fingers crossed their tour guide really tells ghost stories.

Itā€™s extremely unfortunate your guide provided you with this type of tour. It is completely unacceptable, and we assure you that is not the standard we set at our company. We appreciate all feedback, and we assure you we will use this for future tour improvement. To make up for this, we would like to offer you free tickets to use in any of our cities, without expiration, in hopes of giving you a much better experience.

We decided that if we were in one of the most haunted cities in America, then we should definitely go on a ghost tour. Looking at the options available to us, we decided on the "Dead of Night" tour to scratch that itch. It started well enough, but it became quickly apparent that our host was far more interested in being speedy and gruff/edgy than providing an accurate experience. I understand that a certain amount of theater and exposition is to be expected on these tours, but some of the history was just flat out wrong. Hessians =/= Haitians. Even more off-putting was our host constantly checking the time and telling our group that he needed to hurry back to the start point to take the next group, and that he had another group at Bonaventure Cemetery the next morning: things myself and many of the other attendees I talked to after the fact just didn't care about considering we were on our own paid experience. Ultimately, this isn't a tour I can recommend. We had the same lines parroted back at us at every stop, and it wasn't very creative. I expected more.
