Overview

Travel to Tybee Island via trolley/bus for lunch on your own at the Crab Shack where the Elite Eat in their bare-feet. Board the boat for a Dolphin Cruise through Tybee Island’s-waterways. After the Dolphin Cruise we will stop by the Tybee Island Lighthouse overlooking the Atlantic Ocean for a photo opportunity before returning to Savannah. Admission to the Lighthouse or Museum is NOT included in the price of this tour.

Somehow we thought the tour would take us by boat out to Tybee Island, but the ride out was in a trolley. However, the ride out included a fairly substantial tour of the historic district and was very entertaining. Max, our driver and tour guide was great and a wealth of local knowledge. The lunch at the Crab Shack was excellent. The portions are huge, so be careful when you order. On our dolphin tour we had a lot of sightings. The boat crew was competent and very entertaining. The lighthouse on Tybee Island is closed on Tuesdays so take that into account when you book. Instead of the lighthouse we had an hour to wander around the beach and surrounding shopping district, which was fun. Highly recommended.

Our 930am tour first took us to the dolphin tour which was a beautiful start to our day. Eric and Kim were great at Captain Derek's! Then we went to Crab Shack, and finished up with some free time at the beach. Our guide and driver, Stefanie, was awesome.

Tim did a great job with the historical tour before heading out to Tybee. He was very knowledgeable about the area and delivered the information with facts and humor!
