It was nice, got a tour of Bar Harbor area, Really enjoyed that. And had some really good food on the tour. Tour guide was really knowledgeable of the area, which was plus.

I would not recommend this food tour. It is overpriced for what you get. How is olive oil a food tasting it should not be included in the tour. And the 2nd stop is all raw seafood , not a choice for all people. I have done several food tours in the past few years and this ranks at the bottom. Poor value for what you get. And the 3rd stop you take the food to go , not enjoying the ambious of the Bar Harbor restaurants.

Hello, this is a culinary walking tour, and nowhere do we describe this as a restaurant tour. We provide a varied assortment of tastings centric to Maine - some of which are taken out to be enjoyed in the park, others are enjoyed inside seated at a restaurant or tavern. Fiore Olive Oils and Balsamics of Bar Harbor have a great story, and their products are used in many of the local restaurants. The largest majority of our guests enjoy this opportunity of a private tasting. The Loft raw bar may not be for everyone, but oysters are definitely an important part of the Maine food scene. The to-go tastings included a lobster slider and blueberry crumb cake with a blueberry soda. In addition, chowder and Maine craft beer was enjoyed, plus an ice cream from the same establishment President Obama visited while in Bar Harbor. We are sorry you do not feel you got much on this tour but countless other reviews say otherwise.
