Scenic Carmel-By-The-Sea Guided E-Bike Tour

Overview
You will ride from our bike shop in downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea and explore cottages throughout Carmel. Passing several local historic sites, you will ride down the Carmel coastline along Scenic Drive; a one-way, 15-mile per hour road. You’ll pass landmarks such as the Tor House, Butterfly House, Carmel River State Beach, Clint Eastwood’s Mission Ranch, and the Carmel Mission, one of the most authentically restored Catholic mission churches in California.

The minimum for a non-private tour to operate is 4 people. If you reserve a tour date and we have less than 4 people sign up for the tour then we reserve the right to cancel the tour with a full refund, or convert the tour to a private guided tour (additional rates apply), or combine the tour with another tour at a different time that day, or convert the tour to a standard rental reservation (no tour guide). The House of Hansel & Gretel

The Valentine
This bronze sculpture figure by George Wayne Lundeen is called The Valentine. It was installed in the First Murphy Park in 1994. This is a great place to stop for a picture while some in the group use the restroom before we head along the beachfront.

First Murphy House
The first Murphy House in Carmel, California is a historic Craftsman style home built in 1902. It features a low-pitched gable roof, wide eaves, and exposed rafters, as well as a cozy, comfortable interior with hardwood floors, fireplace mantels, and built-in cabinets. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood a short walk from downtown Carmel and is a beloved landmark in the community. The house is currently being used as the location for the Carmel Heritage Society.

We had an amazing time. There was a slight hiccup in plans when we showed up for our tour and hadn't been told it had been cancelled due to it just being the two of us on the tour. The staff was apologetic and offered to have on the same tour the next day. We adjusted our plans and made it work and had an excellent time.

Leslie was great! She gave us a hybrid tour based on what we wanted to see! First time E Bike riders and her instruction was easy to follow. So fun! Highly recommend!

Great way to see 17 mile drive. Not sure how but there was a mixup with our Viator booking and it said we were on the Carmel tour. Leslie, our tour guide communicated effectively and got our tour changed. The bikes were great and we got toser lots of nature on our trip, sea otters, seals etc. I would highly recommend this tour.
