What To Expect
1
Kingman Visitor Center
Your adventure begins with our first experience at the Kingman Powerhouse Visitors Center/Route 66 & Electric Vehicle Museums. The Route 66/Electric Vehicle Museum is in Kingman’s Historic Powerhouse and depicts the historical evolution of travel along the 35th parallel that became Route 66. Brilliant murals, photos and life-size dioramas capture each of the groups that have traveled what came to be known as the Mother Road.
2
Little Old Wine Drinkers Winery
Welcome to the newest vineyard in Kingman, Arizona. Located on Winery Row, Little Old Wine Drinkers Winery is starting from scratch (bare Earth), breaking the soil, planting vines, harvesting grapes, creating delicious wines, and delivering them to you in bottles for your enjoyment. That is why we say, From Earth to Bottle, because we have been a part of the entire process.
3
Desert Diamond Distillery

We had a blast! The history of RT66 and Kingman at the Museum was very interesting. The two wineries had tasty wine and fun people working there. The Black Bridge Brewery flight of beers introduced us to flavors we didn’t know we would like but certainly did. We were ready for lunch by then and it was yummy. We laughed, learned, and had a great time.

I loved the Route 66 and electric car museum. Robert got a friend of his who is very knowledgeable about Route 66 history to guide that part of the tour for us and he was a delight. Robert was an excellent driver and a pleasure to spend the day with. We went to three different wineries and a brewery and each one offered something different. We also got to stop at a scenic overlook of Lake Mead and Robert told us a lot of interesting things along the way.

Our Museum & Wine Tour is becoming a favorite. So glad you and your group enjoyed it. Historian & author Jim Hinckley is the most knowledgeable man in town when it comes to all things Northwest Arizona. We always appreciate when he has the time to lead our guests personally through the museums. Thank you for choosing Desert Wonder Tours!
