I booked a 5 PM tour for myself, my husband, and his dad as a stop along a road trip. I got my time zones confused, however, and we ended up arriving 15 minutes late when I thought we would be early. I found this out when asking another tour group booth for directions to the meeting point. Despite us being late, this other tour group gave our guide a call, and he came right back and picked us up with no questions asked. I imagine this was because we were the only three on the tour, but it was greatly appreciated nonetheless.
The tour took us along the dirt roads running around the area, with plenty of scenic stops for pictures. The landscape in Monument Valley is absolutely stunning. Our guide was very knowledgeable and answered all of our many questions. He also told us lots of stories about Navajo culture and beliefs, which was fascinating to learn about. It was overall a very enjoyable experience and I would recommend this tour service to anyone looking for a smaller, more personal tour of the valley.
