This was well worth it, Ruby went above and beyond, he and his assistant gave us excellent commentary about all the sites.I highly recommend this tour, the photos speak for themselves. Be mindful that it does include some walking and standing, with that being said, wear comfortable shoes.

This tour would have received a better rating but there were some aspects of it that I was unhappy about. Our tour guide was very good and very knowledgeable . It was clear that he is very passionate about San Antonio but sometimes that enthusiasm is just TOO much. I booked this tour believing that it was a nice drive around the city to see it at night, to visit the Tower at night and to experience the river cruise at night. I scheduled it for close to the end of my vacation in San Antonio thinking it would be a nice relaxing tour to end off a trip that had pushed my physical limits. What it turned out to be was a lot of walking and, worse for me, a lot of standing while we got detailed information which was all very good. However, because of my physical limitations I don't do a lot of walking tours as I am aware of my challenges. So had I known this tour incl so much walking I would never have booked. Now had the tour been 3 hrs I may not have had as many issues but it was at least 4 hrs long. The result was my last 2 nights in San Antonio were spent in a fair bit of pain and on pain meds. The next day my activities were very restricted and a visit with a lady who lives there that I was really looking forward to was greatly impacted. I had left a day for rest before travel home and this was not as restful as it should have been so the change of itinerary was not good for me and thus a lower rating with more negative written than positive. It is important to describe a tour accurately and it is important to stick to that plan as those of us booking make our decision as to book or not based on what you have marketed.
