I have gone on other similar adventures in Tahoe and none have even come close to the quality of Tahoe Outdoor Adventures. It was the little things that set them apart. To begin with the attitude of the guides was "we are here for you," helpful, polite, friendly, informative. The tour it self was off the beaten path and unique from other tours I have done. The guides also responded to the needs of the group. Our group was fairly fit and so we did a slightly more difficult snowshoe adventure. The great thing is the guide kept checking in to see if we needed anything were ok, etc. They also brought small snacks - a nice touch. Lastly, the guides had a lot of information about the area that was fun, useful and interesting. I loved it!

I'm so glad I just went for it and did this off-the -beaten-path excursion with them. The guides were extremely knowledgable and patiently took us to the most amazing places I have ever seen. We definitely would have gotten lost trying to find their 'hidden gems' on our own. They thoroughly explained really interesting nature things to us as we went deep into the snowy wonderland. We were blown away by the scenery and even saw a bald eagle nest. As a new resident to the area it was well worth the money to see it with these passionate, true locals. You can tell that they absolutely love what they do. For anyone looking to get out and have a really fun time I highly recommend this experience. They even had hot chocolate and picnic stuff ready for us! Michelle is an excellent photographer if you are lucky enough to get her as one of your guides! Ask for her and Ryan!

Ryan and Michelle were wonderful guides. This is our first snow shoeing trip. We loved it , hike was beautiful and the pace was good. Enjoyed the snow shoeing to fallen leaf lake. It was beautiful day. They are very knowledgeable and have talked about the Tahoe and history. Also given us recommendations for other activities, we’re very friendly.Would definitely come back for other snow activities in next visit. Thank you Ryan and Michelle
