We had a great time rafting down the Snake River with Sandy our guide — he was excellent! We went in August and had some fun rapids which are even higher and more exhilarating earlier in the summer according to our guide. You will get soaked which is part of the experience so be prepared!

This was such a fun trip. Our boat operator was friendly and knowledgeable and even let our kids steer the bait at the end of the trip. Beautiful scenery and the whole trip was managed extremely efficiently. The operator was very conscientious about COVID and took steps to ensure everyone was safe.

I would definitely recommend Dave Hansen for anyone wanting to try out white water rafting in Jackson Hole. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, and experienced. I really appreciated that they did the best they could to follow social distancing and face covering guidelines when they could. The rafting itself was good for beginners, kids, and/or families, or those looking for a more mild rafting experience. It was perfect for my friends who had never been rafting before. The scenery was gorgeous but for someone who has done more advanced white water rafting it was somewhat underwhelming but overall I had a great time!
