Our family did the scenic tour. Corey was our guide. He was completely fantastic!!! I wholly trusted his competence and ability to steer us safely (our two kids were in the boat too). He had great things to share throughout the trip- knowledgeable about the area, the history and the geography, he knew about the grand Tetons and has climbed them personally. He had a great sense of humor but at the same time, took safety completely seriously! Great combo in a guide. Really great guy. Boats were in great shape, and the team was very adhering to safety precautions regarding covid- they did everything right. We will do this again next time we visit.

Overall, this was an excellent experience. Our tour guide Haley was amazing. She was one of the few Jackson locals we had the pleasure of interacting with. Tons of local knowledge and great conversation as we enjoyed the beautiful scenery. If you have little ones and want to get a different vantage point of the Teton range rather than just the standard park hike I highly recommend the river tour. As it was our last day of a week long trip and we were pooped we took the scenic trip option without the whitewater, but I’ve heard good things about the whitewater version as well. Enjoy!
