My son and I took this trip in september 2019 wanting a pleasant ride down the river rather than a white water experience. It was everything I hoped for right from the start, easy to book on line, friendly helpful people at the town office and the young lady - Karen - who was our guide was fantastic. She handled the raft with great skill but was also incredibly knowledgeable and informative about everything to do with the whole area. From the river to wildlife to the landscape to local history she not only answered every question but also provided information as we progressed, to be honest she made the trip! We had a great couple of hours on the water, a simple but pleasant picnic lunch, and we saw loads of eagles, who apparently live by the river so they can steal fish from the ospreys that also live there. Highly recommended.

Had two different boat captains. Two different stretches of the river. Late October. Really friendly staff who did everything in there power to ensure a good time for everyone. Professional all around. Highly recommended!
