Very friendly people, scenic river. We saw at least 10 bald eagles and several marmot but chances of seeing large animals is rare. The river is very swift but I didn’t get so much as a drop of water on me. Children would be bored.

Had a terrific time on the Dave Hansen river float trip down the Snake River in Jackson, Wyoming. Our experienced Guide and oar woman MacKenzie kept us up to date on what’s going on on the river as well as keeping a keen eye out for the wildlife. We were lucky enough to see many bald eagles, some in flight, ospreys, one even diving for a fish for lunch. There were also pelicans, cranes ,marmots and geese and goslings. We saw a moose on our way into the launch site but no other wildlife on shore.It was a great trip and very relaxing and exciting at the same time. Definitely think about this trip if you do not want to do the rowing yourself but want to see the wildlife and the beauty of the river .

Shout out to Sam our guide on the river this week. She was smart, fun and made it a cool trip. The trip was well organized. Catered for my GF allergy. Above all everything went on schedule.
