Frog Alley Brewing Company

One of Schenectady’s newest breweries, Frog Alley, is named after one of the first baseball teams in the county. Known for playing no matter the cost, they were actually thrown in jail for playing on a Sunday! Frog Alley is home to Schenectady County Community College’s brewing program, and features several “start-up” breweries in their tasting room for a one-of-a-kind experience pairing great beer with live music and lots of fun. Great Flats Brewing

The name “Great Flats” pays homage to the fresh water aquifer that provides water to Schenectady – and for their brewing operation! Dedicated to using New York State ingredients, Great Flats brings creative flavors and some of the friendliest staff around. Mad Jack Brewing Company

Located in the heart of Schenectady’s Historic Stockade District, the Van Dyck opened in 1947 as a popular jazz club and is now home to the award-winning Mad Jack Brewing Company.
