Weight restrictions of 275 pounds per person will apply. Not recommended for passengers with mobility and or balance issues.

Children under the age of 5 are NOT permitted to sail
Passengers must be physically able to navigate a long narrow dock and stairs to board the boat. Weight restrictions of 275 pounds per person will apply. Once on board you will need to be able to move about on uneven deck surfaces, climbing down a 2-foot-deep step into our seating area, and then a 2 foot step back up on to the deck. Loose fitting clothing and flat soft soled shoes are best, no heels or flip flops, you may go barefoot onboard.

What To Expect

Clearwater Beach

Once you book your tickets, check your email for instructions to ensure a carefree visit with us. Meet at Clearwater Beach Municipal Marina. Check in 45 minutes prior to your scheduled departure at our ticket booth to receive your boarding pass(s). We pre board all passengers for a safety talk and then throw the lines off exactly at departure time! As we motor out of the Marina our First Mate will work on raising our sails. We then navigate Clearwater Pass between the barrier islands of Sand Key and Clearwater Beach to head offshore :) Once outside of the Clearwater Pass the Captain will shut down the engine and we will be completely under sail power. It is a unique and beautiful perspective of Clearwater Beach offshore. You may even catch a glimpse of Bottlenose Dolphins feeding or at play in the wake of our Schooner!

I took my aunts sailing for one of their birthdays and we had a great time. The trip was so relaxing one of my aunts dozed off. The Captain and his mate where extremely kind, knowledgeable, and accommodating. We will be back and highly recommend!!

When we got in check-in, the boat lay there without a crew. Local organizer had during the night canceled the trip without us being notified. He referred to Viator who he had warned. We were encouraged to book directly with the organizer next time. Now we can only hope for a refund from TripAdvisor.

Hello. We apologize for your negative experience booking through Viator but your negative review is misdirected at our small family owned and operated business. As I explained to you when you called, the decision to cancel the 1:30 PM trip on 6 July was made at 5:30 AM. This decision was made for your safety due to predictions of dangerous storms in the area and an extreme heat advisory issued for the afternoon - circumstances out of our control. The decision was made early and communicated to you for your convenience so as to have minimal impact on your plans, even though the weather and predictions in the area change rapidly, especially this time of year. At 5:36 AM we sent you a message through Viator messaging that the trip was cancelled. We then cancelled the trip on the Viator site and opted for Viator to send you alternate times and dates. We followed all proper procedures from our side to make sure that you were aware of this change. The Viator portal was then checked later in the morning and your booking was no longer there for that date. When you book through Viator our ability to communicate directly with you is limited. When the booking is removed from the daily schedule that is our indication that you have been properly notified. Your one star review of our business is misdirected, unfair, and detrimental to us. As a small family owned and operated business we take great pride in our impeccable Safety Record, an excellent reputation for Customer Service and Communication, with excellent reviews and ratings throughout our more than 7 years of service. We always err on the side of Safety and making sure you have the best possible True Sailing Experience aboard the Schooner.
