Sail away from it all on your two-hour voyage aboard Boothbay Harbor's schooner to relax and see the Maine coastline. Lighthouses, fishing lobstermen, wildlife, and remote islands accessible only by boat dot the seascape.

Our goal is for you to experience the best two-hour classic sailing trip in the world. We have been working on this experience in Boothbay Harbor for almost 50 years, have a strong local following, and have been featured in national best-selling publications.

We have the best sailing vessel for exploring Boothbay Harbor. We use an onboard engine to get us to the sailing grounds quickly. The size of our vessel is perfect for exploring all the areas of our rocky harbor and seeing life along the Maine coast. There are no obstructions on our deck other than the masts, so you always have a full 360-degree view from every seating position.

Our docks are in the center of Boothbay Harbor's historic waterfront. You are literally steps away from great inns, shops, restaurants, and other activities on the water. We work with and support our waterfront community and will be happy to advise you on all the great experiences around us.

The captain and mate were super friendly. They asked for volunteers to hoist the sails which was fun. The trip is two hours. You see three lighthouses and several islands. It is beautiful and peaceful. I highly recommend this trip for couples. They say BYOB but they sell reasonably priced alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages.

The only complaint that we would have is that our captain was not user friendly at all. He did not provide any info on anything. When ask what island this might be, answer was curt, Burnt Island or Squirrel Island. Several other questions asked were almost answered with distain. The other crew member was friendly and would talk with the guests. We stayed in the harbor and tacked back and forth for the two hours.

Weather and sunset was gorgeous. The only thing that I wish they would add to the cruise is narrating your whereabouts a little bit. Throughout the cruise, you could hear people saying now where do you think that is over there?
