The guides were very informative and the headsets resolve my biggest gripe with these in that you can never hear the guide unless you are at the very front. They were mindful of those who were new and tried to make them comfortable.

Had a great time on the tour with Juan. The instructions and safety tips were great and easy to follow. Would highly recommend!

My wife has long been enthusiastic about a Segway tour. Her brother and I... not so much. Well we were wrong! We arrived at the Segway office early and our guide, Colin, graciously invited us in and began the introduction and video education. The key point: "don't be a stick figure". (There were several obvious and dumb things to avoid, so as to be safe on a Segway. The video illustrations were 'stick figures'.) After we signed all the forms, we were off to the parking lot for individual instruction and practice. Each of us got plenty of individual attention. Once we were more proficient, we were trained on going up and down ramps. Then it was off on the tour of Scottsdale! Quite a lovely city, even in February with a cold front! Colin did a great job of narrating the sights while keeping an eye on us to ensure that we were all safe. We did take a break midway for restrooms and to stretch. The second half was easier, as we had become accustomed to the Segways, and even got a little more adventurous. The only down side was the cool weather, which no one has control over. Five stars to Colin and to Scottsdale!!
