My son is absolutely fascinated by sea life so we were so excited to take him here! He was so happy and excited he did amazing all the way through and he didnā€™t wanna leave he had so much fun! My only complaint it I wanted to get him something fun at the end in the little shop they have so he can remember his first trip to the aquarium and the first thing I got him didnā€™t work so they had to exchange it for a different one and the second one they got us also didnā€™t work. I still wanted to get him something so they recommend something else and even when they brought two of those things over so I can see different colors non of them worked either!! It was very very hot and so at this point we just wanted to go home and we said we really wanted to grab him something so he had have a souvenir and we would just purchase the first item since the lights still worked and they told us they canā€™t sell defective merchandise! šŸ¤¦ā€ā™€ļø My poor kiddo ended up going home with nothing šŸ’”

I was really excited to take my nephew to Sealife. I was planning on spending a few hours there and listening to the talks they have planned throughout the day. We arrived at 10AM and parking was convenient. The parking garage is attached to Sealife and it's free on weekends. We had our tickets printed so we went through the line pretty quick. We got our picture taken and I read a sign that said you can get a stamp book that when you collect all the stamps you get a prize at the end but no one gave us one because we didn't have to stop at the front desk. The aquarium itself has a nice flow to it. The touch pool was pretty small and there were lots of little kids and their parents cutting in front of us to wash and dry their hands so they could go do the touch pool. The whole trip lasted less than an hour. At the end you can color in a sea creature and have it featured on the projection screen on the wall. We waited 5 minutes to see ours but it never popped up. We also never made it to any of the talks. They are so spread out throughout the day that if you only spend an hour in the aquarium then you are likely to only catch one maybe two of them. They also don't have a pamphlet to show you talk times so if you want to catch a specific one I would write what time and where it's going to be at. My nephew who is 8 and I enjoyed it but it's nothing spectacular. Also when we left there was a HUGE line of people waiting to get in so I suggest going first thing so yoy avoid long lines.

We went to the aquarium right as they opened on a weekday, and it was so packed! We had to wait in line to get in despite having pre-ordered tickets, and then the crowds while inside the aquarium were insane! We could hardly move through the exhibits, couldn't get our little one close to any tanks because of the crowd, and certainly couldn't stop to read the information about the marine life. There was one touch tank, which had starfish and a shark egg, which was good, but again, there was very little space or time to view since there was such a crowd. The displays were pretty, but for the price, it was a big disappointment! We left feeling frustrated and we regretted spending our last day of vacation on an activity that we would feel rushed through in under 45 minutes. I really wish I could have a more positive review, because we had really been looking forward to visiting!
