Seattle Chocolate Tour

Overview

Is chocolate a food or a technology? Why does it hold such a special place in cultures around the world? Most importantly: How do YOU like your chocolate?

On this tour you'll need all your senses to help answer these questions, and there's no better place to explore the world of chocolate than the city famous for beans that give you a buzz.

This 2.5 hour walking tour will fill you to the brim with chocolatey goodness. Dark. Milk. Drinking. Solid. Spicy. Bitter. Sweet. With nuts. With fruits. And the purest of the pure. You will leave with a deeper understanding of the attention that goes into each decadent bite you take.

Included in your ticket price is 12 individual tastes of chocolate (keep breakfast light). We will visit 8 of Downtown Seattle's most beloved food stops so that there is a little something for everyone!

After patiently waiting for us at cupcake royale, our guide, Will, escorted us around a number of stores and restaurants all while answering any questions we had about chocolate, pike place market, and general Seattle life. He was very fun and kept the young child on our tour engaged the whole time. He also helped me out with a lunch recommendation and then found me waiting in the wrong line after the tour. He promptly directed me to the correct one! Thanks Will! And thanks for all the cacao knowledge!

We had an excellent tour with Will this morning. Lots of history of Seattle, history of chocolate and a few anecdotes thrown in. It was very informative. We made about 7-8 stops and tasted chocolate in all its various forms - absolutely delicious! This is a fun tour - for locals and tourists - highly recommend, a great way to spend a couple hours!

Will was not only knowledgeable but also very fun tour guide. We got to learn on the history of chocolate while exploring pike’s market place and tasting a wide variety of foods- spoiler alert, not all of it was chocolate! What a lovely experience! Highly recommend 😊
