Overview

Get acquainted with Seattle's historic waterfront from the water side of the wharf on this fully narrated cruise of Elliott Bay and Seattle Harbor. This cruise follows the shoreline and provides up-close views of the piers, ports and area attractions. There are plenty of interesting features around the bay: the Port of Seattle (one of the busiest ports in the United States), Colman Dock (the main dock of the largest ferry system in the US), and Pier 90 (home of the region's cruise ship business), Alki Beach (major local summertime hangout), the Space Needle, the famous Hotel Edgewater, the Great Wheel and the Seattle Aquarium. Last but not least, enjoy tremendous views of the natural beauty that surrounds Seattle. The majestic Olympic Mountains lie to the west, solitary Mount Rainier to the southeast, and the inviting Cascade Range to the east.

My teenage daughter and I went on this and loved it!! Perfect amount of time, lots of info/history, beautiful views, and our cruise guide Eddie was hilarious and so entertaining! Well worth it!

Seeing Seattle from the water is the best way to see the city. Argosy Cruises is very professional and entertaining, ensuring that one gets his/her moneys worth from start to finish. They've been operating boats in Seattle for 70 years and they know what they're doing, plus they have a great crew. A shout out to our guide Lars who was the best! We had a beautiful, sunny day and enjoyed seeing the sights and learning about the history and future of the city. Money well spent (we used the City Pass.) The best viewing is on the top deck, which is full of seating. Bring sunscreen as there is no shade. Sit on the right side. Great photo ops throughout the hour, plus they take your photo ($15 for 2 very professional photos with the City Pass coupon.)
