Overview

Get acquainted with Seattle's historic waterfront from the water side of the wharf on this fully narrated cruise of Elliott Bay and Seattle Harbor. This cruise follows the shoreline and provides up-close views of the piers, ports and area attractions. There are plenty of interesting features around the bay: the Port of Seattle (one of the busiest ports in the United States), Colman Dock (the main dock of the largest ferry system in the US), and Pier 90 (home of the region's cruise ship business), Alki Beach (major local summertime hangout), the Space Needle, the famous Hotel Edgewater, the Great Wheel and the Seattle Aquarium. Last but not least, enjoy tremendous views of the natural beauty that surrounds Seattle. The majestic Olympic Mountains lie to the west, solitary Mount Rainier to the southeast, and the inviting Cascade Range to the east.

My friend and I loved the harbor cruise. The only bad thing about it was the horrible weather, but the crew and tour guide made the trip fun and full of information and corny jokeslove corny jokes to where the bad weather didn't seem like it was such a big deal after all. It was freezing out with the rain and all but the boat was heated and warm top to bottom. I enjoyed the fact they also served drinks like hot apple cider so we could have some while sitting outside of the boat in the cold if we wanted towhich we did. It was nice relaxing and getting away from all the hustle and bustle of the noisy city.

This one hour tour offered a great introduction to the Seattle harbour and history of some of the key buildings. The tour guide was very informative and thankfully there were no lines to get unto the boat. My two year old toddler enjoyed this experience!

We have 3 children (ages 9-16), this was a perfect cruise to get the best of the Seattle. The cruise was informative, interesting and comfortable. There is a bar, food and restrooms available. I only wish the skies would have been a little clearer so we could have seen the mountains behind the city.
