Overview

We’ll meet at a cooking class kitchen in a residential neighborhood. We will walk to a local seafood store nearby. You will see salmon and other ingredients at the historic fish store. After Fumiko buys ingredients for Sushi rolls, we’ll go back to the kitchen for a hands-on Sushi making lesson. After demonstrate making Sushi rice and how to create Sushi rolls, you will roll 3 Sushi rolls(Cucumber roll, Seattle roll, and a half Futo maki) and plate your Sushi rolls with your own design. You will devour your own creations.
(Notes) On Monday's experience, we will walk to Seattle Fish guys nearby because Mutual fish is closed on Mondays..

My favorite Christmas present. Super informative class with an approachable entry into making your own sushi. I’ve loved sushi, and have been afraid to make it myself, for a long time. No more! From the rice, to buying fish, to making rolls…this class gave me confidence to do it at home.

Our group had a wonderful time learning all the tricks to making a delicious sushi tray. The instructor had a way of not only making the class informative but fun as well. Highly recommend this class for all sushi enthusiasts.

It was SO much fun! We made the most perfect rolls. The rice was even better! I can’t wait to go home and try. I’ll definitely be back to do another class with her!!
